London Anthropology Day
London Anthropology Day 2015 will take place on 2nd July 2015 at the British Museum's Education Clore Centre.
Registration will open on 15th April 2015.
London Anthropology Day (LAD) is an annual university taster day for Year 12, 13 and FE students, career advisors and teachers.
Established in 2004, the event is organised by the Royal Anthropological Institute’s Education Department in collaboration with the British Museum and participating universities. The LAD takes place every July at the BM's Education Clore Centre.
London Anthropology Day aims to provide participants with an opportunity to learn more about anthropology through interactive workshops, photo exhibitions, films, talks and gallery tours.
Over 24 universities and associations provide fascinating workshops on topics ranging from forensic anthropology and mate choice to religious practices, food and body image. The event is free but advanced booking is required.
